About Brentford Toy Library

The Brentford Toy Library is a much loved play and toy-borrowing scheme for pre-school children. Situated in the heart of Brentford, it has been running for over 15 years, managed voluntarily by members of the local community.

The Toy Library provides children access to a wide variety of toys, which are enjoyed during the twice-weekly play sessions. These include resources and equipment designed for children with special needs and those that reflect our multi-cultural and diverse society. All the resources can be loaned for a minimal charge.

Other services that the Brentford Toy Library provides are opportunities for parents/carers/childminders to socialise and network. Offering support and advice from local health professionals. We provide workshops that stimulate and challenge children’s abilities, empathy for others, creativity, confidence and communication skills, which in turn promote carer/child bonding.
